Group NanoXplore Announces Establishment of European Subsidiary in Mainz, Germany

Group NanoXplore Inc., a Montreal-based company specialising in the production and application of graphene and its derivative materials, announced today that it has established a European subsidiary and appointed Dr. Francis Nedvidek as the Managing Director of NanoXplore GmbH.

The new NanoXplore GmbH offices are located in Mainz, Germany in close proximity to the Frankfurt International Airport and in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Rhineland-Palatinate is the center of the German chemical and plastics processing industry which stands to benefit greatly from the introduction of graphene in coming years.

Dr. Francis Nedvidek holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario with additional Business training at the Harvard Business School and London Business School. His track record spans 30 years with experience in executive roles with major corporations and as CEO of new ventures in North America and in Europe. He has particular expertise in the introduction of innovative new technologies and products and building high technology ventures from conception to final exit in close collaboration with major private equity firms and strategic investors. "Europe is the cradle of graphene technology and is investing heavily in its further development. It possesses all the required upstream and downstream elements to enable graphene technology and applications to blossom", says Dr. Nedvidek. "NanoXplore GmbH was established to help leading European industrial customers develop innovative products and solutions based upon NanoXplore's high quality, highly mixable graphene material."
