INFINITY Line: Nanospider™ NS 4L1600U

Solution for advanced membranes

The Nanospider NS 4L1600U is engineered to create nearly defect‑free nanofiber membranes suitable for highly demanding applications. It employs the Nanospiderneedle-free technology, ensuring uninterrupted nanofiber jets through the continuous motion of the electrospinning wire.

The filament electrode features a looped wire. A static coating device is used to consistently coat this wire with a polymer solution. Upon the application of a high-voltage field, electrostatic forces surpass the polymer solution’s surface tension, resulting in the creation of a nanofiber jet. This jet moves toward the collecting electrode, during which process the solvent dissipates, and the fiber elongates. The nanofiber then settles on the substrate located beneath the collecting electrode.
