mPhase Technologies Receives First Working Model for the AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight

mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB:XDSL.OB - News) today announced that it has received the first working model for the AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight from the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria. The model is a major step forward as the company prepares for the initial product launch.

The AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight model introduces a unique built-in emergency feature. mPhase is expected to unveil the flashlight model and features at the NanoBusiness Alliance Public Policy Tour in Washington, DC. The event is a congregation of nanotechnology industry executives, Members of Congress, and other decision makers that set policies and regulate the nanotechnology industry. This year's event will take place from March 17 to 19.

``The AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight brings a new dimension to flashlights that has never been seen before,'' said mPhase CEO Ron Durando. ``The flashlight design is consistent with the exceptional industrial design capabilities of the Porsche Design Studio. I look forward to unveiling the model at the NanoBusiness Alliance Public Policy Tour this month.''

The model features a sleek metallic finish and is the exact size and design as the planned finished product that will be available to consumers. The reserve battery will be added for the final prototype approval, after which the company plans to begin mass production of the AlwaysReady Emergency Flashlight.
