Dr Hanna Jankevics, product technical specialist at Malvern Panalytical is presenting the latest in light scattering methodologies for protein and peptide characterisation at The Peptide Conference 2010. The conference takes place at The Wellcome Trust Conference Centre in Cambridge, UK on 30 & 31 March. Dr Jankevics' talk, 'Light scattering for protein and peptide characterisation', is part of Tuesday morning's Labelling and Characterisation, Session 2.

The Malvern Panalytical' Zetasizer range, incorporates light scattering techniques that offer unequalled sensitivity and versatility for the measurement of hydrodynamic size, zeta potential and molecular weight of proteins and peptides. The Zetasizer µV, for example, may be used to determine the presence of aggregates; screen for optimum crystallisation conditions; and study oligomer formation with as little as 2ìL of sample, requiring just nanograms of material and making it ideal for the study of proteins.
