3DIcon recently declared that it has entered into a Facilities Use Agreement with Oklahoma State University, Tulsa's Helmerich Research Center.
The company will use the facilities at the Helmerich Center to develop the next edition of image space for CSpace, its three dimension volumetric technology.
The company will make use of the facility's specialized tools to develop an image space with increased luminosity and resolution. The nano-sized solution will be easy to transport to trade shows and seminars and conferences with business allies.
The Helmerich Center has been funded through a county, state and private sector partnership, has multiple laboratories that will help design advanced composites and nano-materials. It focuses on material science with four key research and technology development programs. The thrust is on nanotechnology, biosciences, energy and aerospace. It has specialized labs, a green room, an imaging suite, information technology tools and staff offices.
Dr. Brian Hoover, vice president of technology development at 3DIcon said the center offers the equipment and facilities needed to create advanced image space for three- dimensional displays.
