A battery technology development firm located in the U.S.,Vendum Batteries, announces that it has become a member of the Nano Knowledge Transfer Network (NanoKTN). NanoKTN is a Government agency that leads and supports the commercialization of nanotechnologies in the UK.
Vendum Batteries’ CEO, Fraser Cottington, states that the alliance with the nanotechnology commercialization agency allows the start up company to divide the risk associated with investment through partnerships and focus on cutting edge battery technology.
NanoKTN supports formation of networks, partner brokering, research and development, and industry partnerships, as well as to access commercialization grant schemes ranging from $7,500 to $390,000. The developing battery technology company expects that through the membership in NanoKTN, the company can easily secure grants for improving their R&D process and for starting pre -production prototypes. The membership also allows Vendum to work closely with several Universities, businesses, and individuals. This can help the company to establish strong supply chain partnerships that ensures long term future.
