Nanotechnology-based Products for Pet Health Care

Dog Gone Smart Pet Products, a pet products company that focuses on safety and healthcare of pets through the application of nanotechnology, will introduce its Aspen parka, lounger bed, a biodegradable pet bed, canvas pet bed, and classic horse sheets and saddle pads, at the 23rd annual H.H. Backer spring show to be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, between April 13 and 15.

Nanotechnology ensures that the products are PFOA- and PFOS-free of known carcinogens and are approved by bluesign standards’ stringent EHS (environment, health and safety) requirements for textiles. The fabric has the technology embedded into it but the texture and feel is not changed. It results in an invisible controlled textile surface that is resistant to oil, dirt, and other liquids that are adhering to the animal’s coat. It can be cleaned by rinsing in water or machine washing. The fabric can withstand frequent washing. The products feature non-silver-based bacteriostatic that is resistant to bacteria that results in unpleasant odor.

The parka features an outer covering that is wind- and waterproof, an inner lining of fleece, a synthetic fur collar, reflective trim piece that protects the chest and abdomen, polyfill insulation, adjustable elastic that can be zipped up at the waist and neck, and dual buckles to fasten it at the back. The Lounger bed has been fabricated from pure cotton canvas with and comes with an inside pillow.
