Panasonic declared the release of an interchangeable Micro Four Thirds lens, the LEICA DG SUMMILUX 25mm/F1.4 ASPH. The company declared that the lens was found to be compatible with the LUMIX G Series of compact system cameras (CSC) from Panasonic such as the LUMIX GF3.
The lens offers exceptional brightness of F1.4 and is very small and lightweight. The brightness offered by the lens renders a soft focus while capturing photos as well as videos without depending on a flash.
The surface of the LEICA DG SUMMILUX 25mm / F1.4 ASPH lens utilizes the company’s nano surface coating technology, which helps to reduce reflection effectively for the complete visual light range from 380 nm to 780 nm. The nano surface coating technology offers an ultra-low refractive index with nano-sized arrangement and results in the significant reduction of flare and ghost enabling super-clear photographs.
The lens system utilizes one ultra high refractive (UHR) index lens and two aspherical lenses. The glass mold aspherical lenses in combination with UHR index lens can help to attain smooth description throughout the surface. The 25mm focal distance of lens can be used for rendering users flexibility in perspective, composition, and control of aperture.
