Navran Advanced Nanoproducts Development International (NAND) has received financial aid from Khattar Holdings and the details of transaction remain undisclosed. NAND has focused on developing technology and knowledge for manufacturing nanomaterials and using them to fabricate structured particles on a large scale.
Following the successful completion of the transaction, the Chairman of Khattar Holdings, Sat Pal Khattar stated that the company’s due diligence on NAND’s technology proved the technology’s potential for commercialized products, developing innovative products such as nano-pharmaceuticals and generating high profit margins.
The company is also equipped to manufacture structured particles from nanomaterials such as polymerized toner (PT). NAND focusses on using nanotechnology in specialized chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
NAND’s objective is to incorporate nanomaterials in products and move them into the commercial arena. The company plans to meet the objective by conducting internal programs to develop technology platforms that can be incorporated to several nanotechnology products and through association with research firms to locate processes, materials and applications.
NAND has the technical know-how to create nano-sized specialty chemicals, to improve commercialization and manufacturing of products and processes and to make use of nanomaterials to fabricate structured particle products.
