ESI, a company that offers laser-based manufacturing techniques, launched the AccuScribe 2600, which is a superior technology LED wafer scribing system.
The AccuScribe 2600 is developed using patented technology, enabling clients to get maximum LED light output. The company built the AccuScribe 2600 for clients involved in high brightness LED (HB-LED) manufacturing. The company developed high-quality light extraction technologies such as distributed bragg reflector (DBR), patterned sapphire substrate (PSS), and metal mirror (MM). The company is exhibiting the AccuScribe 2600 at the SEMICON West exhibition.
Several clients have claimed that the AccuScribe 2600 offers high brightness scribing for different HB-LED technologies such as DBR and PSS metal mirror. Maximum light output generates more revenue and profits for LED manufacturing companies. The clients using ESI AccuScribe 2600 provides unique features such as low cost, high yield, prevention of work hazards in relation to chemical etching and low environmental impact.
GM of ESI’s LED µEngineering Division, Jonathan Sabol, stated that the AccuScribe 2600 has been developed to meet the challenging technology needs of their customers.
