On September 25 - 29, 2011, Micromeritics will be participating as a sponsor of the 4th International Conference on Carbons for Energy Storage/Conversion and Environment Protection (CESEP 2011). Originally held in Orléans, France in 2005, past CESEP conferences have also been held in Krakow, Poland and Malaga, Spain. In 2011 CESEP returns to France, organized by the French Carbon Group, situated at the historical "Palais des Congres" in Vichy.
CESEP 2011 will bring together scientists, engineers, and technologists providing a forum for discussions on a variety of carbon-related topics. The conference will include keynote lectures by well-known invited speakers, oral presentations, and scientific posters. Topics include: synthesis of new forms of carbons, gas separation and storage, heat storage, carbon catalysts and catalyst supports, adsorption of gas-phase pollutants, carbon for water production and remediation, super capacitors, advanced batteries, fuel cells, and much more.
In business since 1962, Micromeritics has provided materials characterization instrumentation and applications support to most of the world's top industrial companies and academic institutions for fundamental research, product development, quality assurance and control, production, and process control applications. In addition to sponsoring the event, a Micromeritics scientist, Jacek Jagiello, will deliver a technical presentation.
