Nano3d Biosciences’ Bio-Assembler System Facilitates 3D Cell Culture Growth

Nano3d Biosciences has developed a novel product called the Bio-Assembler system to facilitate unprecedented three-dimensional cell culture growth, paving the way for the advancement of cell research as well as initiate the entry of Rainbow Coral into the worldwide biotechnology industry.

The innovative system delivers magnetic nanoparticles into the cells using the Nanoshuttle-PL solution based on nanoparticles. These nanoparticle-charged cells are then grown by the intensified magnetic drives in three dimensions instead of two. The novel Bio-Assembler system is user-friendly when compared to other three-dimensional cell culturing systems.

The Houston Technology Center and Texas Emerging Technology Fund recognized the Bio-Assembler system with several awards and accolades. The system is an important element of the business plans of Rainbow BioSciences, a division of Rainbow Coral.

Patrick Brown, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Rainbow Coral, stated that it is a known fact for years that developing cell cultures in a precise three-dimensional environment for testing and monitoring drug therapies is highly significant . However, the previous three-dimensional culturing techniques were not widely accepted by scientists due to their complexity, Brown said.

Brown further said that Nano3d Biosciences’ Bio-Assembler system is a simple system and can be used with any type of media, diagnostic technique or culturing protocol. It is suitable for any kind of cell, ranging from stem cells to primary cells, he added. The company continues its due diligence analysis for a possible joint venture or acquisition with Nano3d Biosciences wherein the system remains the core of discussions and inquiries, he said.
