The COMS 2012 Young Technology Award is an international entrepreneurial award given to a promising technology company with great potential. The ceremony will take place at COMS2012, an annual global conference, focusing on the commercialization of small technology. For more info visit: www.coms2012.com.
The final six finalists will compete by presenting their company to a panel of experts. Each nominee gets exactly three minutes to get the audience and the judges on his side. Finalists will receive pitch training in advance to ensure that they make the most of their presentations. In addition, the participants get the opportunity to network and establish contacts with investors, technologists and leading industry players. The winner receives a prize of € 5000, there is also an audience prize of € 1000.
As a participating company you will recieve:
- workshop 'Innovation Factory Training' or Entrepreneurship Boot Camp on Sunday 24 June
- pitch training on Monday 25 June
- lessons learned - learning from experienced mentors in their own session
- the opportunity to promote your company in front of an international audience of investors, potential partners and media
- unique networking
- media coverage of the nominees and winner
- the opportunity to win € 5000 and an additional premium of € 1000 awarded by the public
We are looking for companies that:
- are younger than 5 years
- have a business plan based on their IP
- are able to generate a convincing increase in sales in the coming years
