Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology Release New iPad App

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology release their first App, which relates to Plasma Etch and Deposition Processing.

Plasma Technology comprises of a clear and interactive periodic table of elements, with detailed plasma, ion beam and atomic layer deposition processing information beneath. It allows the user to look up process chemistries in order to etch or deposit any material through an easy periodic table interface. PT Elements is free to download and will appeal to a multitude of users from industry and academia. It will prove to be an excellent teaching device that demonstrates individual element properties and electron configurations.

Mark Vosloo, CS, Sales and Marketing Director at Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology states:  "We are excited to launch our new App. It's not only an excellent educational reference tool, but also offers a unique virtual process experience. It was designed to benefit all levels of process experience and will also enhance the usability of our tools".

The App was demonstrated on Oxford Instruments stand at Semicon West, San Francisco recently and received fantastic feedback from visitors, who enjoyed the clean and easy to use interface and the access to informative process data.
