Allectra has opened a dedicated Allectra Italia office in Rome in response to the growth of our vacuum science solutions market in Italy.

Allectra has seen a steady increase in sales of specialist feedthroughs and custom fabrications as we continue to expand in the European market.
As a European manufacturer of bespoke and standard components, Allectra is committed to quality and quick turnaround, and this year opened a new facility in East Sussex, UK to bolster our manufacturing capabilities. The new build incorporates a clean assembly area, specials workshop and CAD/CAM manufacturing alongside offices and research departments. The company has design and manufacturing departments with engineering and scientific capability in both the UK and Germany and has recently welcomed new members to the technical team.
With 10 years experience in vacuum science gained as project manager at Ecovide and a wide technical background, Dario Proietti has been selected for the new role of Italian Project Manager for the Allectra Group and is looking after day to day operations of Allectra Italia.
"Today, several Italian companies and research groups are involved in international projects where they are asked to provide an even more important technological contribution," says Dario. "For this reason, with our new organization, we wish to provide Italian customers with support suited to a multidisciplinary experience backed up by our improved production capabilities. This will enable us to provide an even greater volume and diversity of custom solutions where we have already been successful in the aerospace, particle accelerator, semiconductor and scientific instrument fields."
