Oxford Instruments Announce more Speakers for their 2D Materials Processing Technology Workshop

The 2D materials workshop, on Thursday April 7th 2016, is going to take place at the National Graphene Institute (NGI) of Manchester University.

The NGI is praised as the ‘home of graphene’ following the discovery of the wonder material at the university by Nobel prize winners Professors Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov.

The 2D material processing workshop is a one day seminar, ran by Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology, that will bring together some of the biggest names in graphene from industry and academia. Attendance at the seminar is free, though early registration is essential – register here now.

The full program includes speakers from Oxford Instruments, the University of Manchester, and guests.

Talks will explore subjects such as;

  • Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) for 2D materials
  • Process developments in plasma etching
  • Recent advances in 2D processing technologies and methods
  • Novel technology for Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Layer Deposition (ICP-ALD) for 2D materials
