Precision motion and nanopositioning solutions leader PI (Physik Instrumente) L.P. recently announced the construction of a new Technology Center at its worldwide headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany. After a year of planning, the cornerstone has been ceremoniously laid.
In its current space, PI employs over 400 people in Karlsruhe. At the auspicious ceremony, attended by industry and political guests.

The new Technology Center is over 100,000ft² (9,600m²) and will include 200 workplaces, laboratories, environmental chambers, and an auditorium for seminars and training events. Expected to open at the beginning of 2017, the Center will bring together PI’s development teams into one shared space.
