BIOIDENT Technologies Inc., the leading company in the development of printed opto-electronic solutions for life sciences, today announced their membership with the Organic Electronics Association (OE-A), a working group within VDMA (German Engineering Federation) in Europe. Through its membership, BIOIDENT will bring its expertise in printed electronics to the organization, helping to drive new technology initiatives.
“We are pleased to announce BIOIDENT’s membership in the Organic Electronics Association,” said Dr. Wasiq Bokhari, CEO, BIOIDENT. “OE-A is able to connect BIOIDENT with numerous forward-looking companies around the world in the field of organic electronics. We look forward to creating new relationships with other members.”
The Organic Electronics Association (OE-A) provides companies and research institutes involved in the organic electronics industry a platform to communicate information and ideas between the science and technology, leading to new applications.
BIOIDENT recently unveiled the industry’s first lab-on-a-chip device with a fully integrated opto-electronic readout system. Using BIOIDENT’s revolutionary PhotonicLab Platform™, the cost-effective disposable lab-on-a-chip will eliminate the need for expensive, bulky readout systems and provide immediate results on multiple tests in parallel with significant cost savings.
“BIOIDENT is a leader in the printed electronics industry. The technology they have developed is driving new applications and important impact on the lab-on-a-chip market is expected,” said Dr. Klaus Hecker, managing director, Organic Electronics Association. “OEA looks forward to working with them as the field of organic electronics continues to advance.”
