Ecliptek Introduces New LVPECL Surface Mount MEMS Based Oscillators

Ecliptek, a provider of frequency control devices to the electronics industry, has announced the launch of four new series of low-voltage positive emitter-coupled logic (LVPECL) surface mounted MEMS based oscillators.

Ecliptek’s new EMRC series are an important enhancement to its wide range of MEMS and quartz-based frequency control products, providing superior jitter performance, complementary outputs, and high frequency operation.

These new frequency control product series include 2.5VDC EMRC12 and 3.3VDC EMRC13 series offered in an industry standard six pad 5 x 7 mm SMD packaging, and 2.5VDC EMRC22 and 3.3VDC EMRC23 series offered in an industry standard six pad 3.2 x 5 mm SMD packaging. They are available with frequency stabilities of down to ±20 ppm and output frequencies of up to 625.000 MHz.

The new LVPECL surface mount MEMS based oscillators are RoHS compliant and are offered in industrial, commercial and extended commercial temperature range options.

Ecliptek’s Vice President of Engineering, Thomas Culhane stated that these new LVPECL output oscillator series facilitate customers to achieve clocking solutions that fulfill the requirements for their rigorous period jitter and rms phase jitter performance. The combination of a differential output clock with minimal jitter is a crucial performance prerequisite for customer telecom, network, and storage applications.

Ecliptek, established in 1987, offers full engineering support, unprecedented customer service and advanced products to OEM distributors and customers across the world.
