mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: XDSL) announced today that Pan European Networks has circulated a newsletter featuring contributions from mPhase Technologies and Professor Kostya Novoselov, a Nobel Prize winning researcher. Professor Novoselov was jointly awarded, with Andre Geim, The Nobel Prize in Physics 2010 for "groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene."
The newsletter, titled The Power of Graphene, discusses lithium-air cells, silicon and graphene based technology. By introducing graphene in the cathode, improved efficiency is possible due to conductivity.
Professor Novoselov states in the article, "In the United States, a number of graphene-derived innovations in battery technology are emerging, promising drastic advances in battery capacity." The newsletter concludes that further investment in research needs to continue in order for the technology to mature.
