HyperSolar, University of Iowa Enter Agreement to Accelerate Development of Commercially Viable Renewable Hydrogen

HyperSolar, Inc., the developer of a breakthrough technology to produce renewable hydrogen using sunlight and water, today announced that it has entered into a one year agreement with the University of Iowa to help accelerate the company's research and development efforts to reach its goal of producing commercially viable renewable hydrogen.

More Than 3,000 People Attend Community Day Events at Three SUNY Poly Locations

Winter can be cruel for the skin, especially for the sensitive eye area. Drastic temperature swings add additional pressure on the skin in order to keep homeostasis of the organism. The negative impact of winter makes eyes look older. The carried out study in New York, found that 82% of women have dark circles and puffy eyes in winter as opposed to 38% in summer.

MIT Enters Agreement with Tecnológico de Monterrey for Research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

MIT has established a formal relationship with Tecnológico de Monterrey, one of Latin America’s largest universities, to bring students and faculty from Mexico to Cambridge for fellowships, internships, and research stays in MIT labs and centers. Gold Nanoparticle Chains Facilitate Highly Confined Light Propagation

Researchers from Singapore and Bristol in association with the Centre d'Elaboration de Matériaux et d'Etudes Structurales (CEMES, CNRS) have demonstrated the confinement of light energy to nano scale level by aligning crystalline gold nanoparticles and fusing them into long chains. The research was published in the Nature Materials website.
