Synthesis and characterisation of nanoparticles and nanosystems

Description of Activities

Centro de Fisica Aplicada y Tecnologia Avanzada is involved in basic research and the technological development of ceramic, polymeric, metallic and hybrid nanoparticles.

These nanoparticles are used in the preparation of advanced coatings used for a wide variety of applications. This includes anti graffiti (Deletum 3000), stain protection, anticorrosion and teeth protection to ballistic purposes etc.

Centro de Fisica Aplicada y Tecnologia Avanzada also deals with the design of novel characterisation techniques, including microscopy, nuclear engineering and spectroscopy.
