Background
Dr. Jianyong Ouyang is an assistant professor at the National University of
Singapore. He received his bachelor degree from the Tsinghua University in Beijing,
M.Sc. from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, and PhD from
the Institute for Molecular Science, Graduate University for Advanced Studies
in Japan.
Research interests
There are three research directions at Professor Jianyong Ouyang's lab
at the National University of Singapore.
- Organic/polymeric electronic materials and devices. His lab has been carried
out research on the synthesis, characterization and processing of conjugated
polymers and small organic molecules and fabrication and characterization
of organic/polymeric photovoltaic cells, light emitting diodes and electrochromic
displays.
- Nanometer materials and devices. His lab has been particularly interested
in developing novel methods to process nanotubes and nanoparticles and application
of these nanometer materials in electronic devices, such as polymer/nanoparticle
memory devices and dye-sensitized solar cells.
- Energy materials and devices. His lab has been focused on the materials
and devices of next-generation solar cells, including polymer/organic solar
cells and dye-sensitized solar cells, and new energy-storage materials.
