Peregrine Commences Shipment of RF Switches Built on 130 nm UltraCMOS 10 Technology Platform

Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., founder of RF SOI (silicon on insulator) and pioneer of advanced RF solutions, announces shipment of the first RF switches built on the UltraCMOS 10 technology platform. With partner GLOBALFOUNDRIES, the company also announces the completion of product and process qualification for the advanced RF SOI technology.

ON Semiconductor Offers Newly Qualified Circuit Blocks on ONC18 180 nm Process Technology

ON Semiconductor, driving energy efficient innovations, has announced the availability of new qualified intellectual property (IP) on its proprietary ONC18 180 nanometer (nm) process technology. The newly qualified circuit blocks will help ON Semiconductor’s foundry (GDS2) interface customers minimize the risk of the need for silicon re-spins and therefore help reduce development costs and shorten time to market for new designs.

Battelle Honors Brookhaven Physicist with ‘Inventor of the Year" Award for Nanostructured Material Research

Charles T. Black, a physicist developing new ways to engineer materials for energy applications at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory, is being honored as an "Inventor of the Year" by Battelle—the global science and technology organization that, together with Stony Brook University, manages Brookhaven Lab through the company Brookhaven Science Associates.
