More than 300 companies from 17 countries - Russia, Austria, the Belarus Republic, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Israel, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the USA - will display their presentations at 118 exhibition stands with a total area of 2,874 sq. m.
Along with famous international participants, Russian regions will also present their developments in the field of nanotechnology, including Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Mordovia, Chuvashia, the Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Penza, Perm, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, and Tomsk regions, as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Among collective presentations, the exhibition stands of the Russian Federal Science and Innovation Agency, the German Ministry of Science and Education, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the special economic zone Dubna, and the nuclear industry deserve special attention.
The subjects of the projects declared for the exhibition demonstrates that nanotechnology is quickly penetrating all areas of the society's life: from the power industry and medicine to the machine building industry and agriculture. Both largest scientific centers and specialized institutes, and commercial organizations already gaining profit from implemented innovations will tell about their developments in the high-tech field.
RUSNANO will show the largest presentation at the exhibition. Innovative projects in the following areas, approved by the Supervisory Council of the Corporation, will be presented at 225 square meters:
the solar power industry and power saving (including the establishment of production of nanotechnology-based environmentally safe and power saving lighting systems);
nanostructured materials (including the establishment of production of new composite materials - prepregs; high-barrier polymeric films for the manufacture of flexible new generation package);
medicine and biotechnology (including the establishment of production of medical equipment for cascade plasmapheresis based on track-etched membranes);
the machine building industry ? metalworking (including the establishment of production of electrochemical machines for precision manufacture of nanostructured material parts; wear-resistant products of nanostructured ceramics and metal ceramics);
optoelectronics and nanoelectronics (including the establishment of mass production of integrated circuits using the 90-nanometer technology; radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and metal-coated packing materials);
infrastructure projects.
The RUSNANO stand promises to be really innovative not only by its spirit, but also by its form: an art object specially designed for the exhibition, containing nanomaterials, will symbolize each project area. A unique light panel and special LED lighting of the stand will not leave any visitor untouched.
The Innovative Product Exhibition will allow to demonstrate the potential of leading Russian and world developments in the field of nanotechnology, and will contribute to commercialization of innovations and nanoindustry development.
