Owlstone Nanotech Receives New Purchase Order in Japanese Market

Advance Nanotech, Inc. (OTCBB: AVNA) is pleased to report that Owlstone Nanotech, Inc. ("Owlstone") has announced the receipt of a new order for five development platform systems from a Japanese technology company, and has announced recent appointments of two Asian distributors for its products.

LONESTAR gas analyser

The new purchase order follows opening discussions between Owlstone and the Japanese technology company regarding the licensing of Owlstone's technology for specific market sectors in Japan and an earlier purchase of a single development kit for trial purposes. The order is intended as the basis for further technology validation and initial local business development activities. In the meantime, talks are continuing regarding the potential synergies between the two organizations.

On the Asian distribution front, Owlstone announced the prior appointments of two Asian distributors for its LONESTAR™ gas analyser and OVG-4™ Vapor Generators. Jusun Instruments Co Ltd of Taiwan and APM Engineering Co Ltd of the Republic of Korea are both independently owned businesses whose specialist local knowledge combined with long standing experience in the gas analysis field fully complements Owlstone's approach to developing and delivering new gas detection technology.

In an email to Owlstone shareholders, Bret Bader, CEO of Owlstone, commented, "Growing worldwide interest in Owlstone's products demands a greater presence in international markets. These new relationships are of considerable benefit in our ongoing business-building activities in the key South East Asian economies."
