BeDell to lead the ongoing transformation of S&T Books from a traditional print-based book publisher into a technology-driven, high quality content-based information provider.
Elsevier announced today that Suzanne BeDell has joined Elsevier as Managing Director, S&T Books. BeDell will provide overall vision to further Elsevier's mission to design and develop both print and electronic products that serve customers needs.

Chi, CEO, Elsevier Science and Technology. "The S&T Books group plays a key role in Elsevier's strategic growth so we are delighted to have someone of Suzanne's caliber to take on the leadership of the group."
Suzanne brings to Elsevier more than 28 years of experience in the publishing industry, starting out in books sales and marketing. Over the course of her career she has held a number of leadership positions in the STM publishing and digital information businesses with such companies as Thomson (now Thomson-Reuters), McGraw Hill, and Mosby (now Elsevier). She joins Elsevier after 9 years with ProQuest, where she most recently served as General Manager of Dialog LLC, a provider of online information services for research-intensive organizations.
