Student Conference on Nanotechnology to be Held in Mashhad, Iran

The 8th student conference on nanotechnology is scheduled to be held in the holy city of Mashhad, northeastern Iran, on December 1-2, 2010.

Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) hand in hand with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences share responsibilities to hold the mentioned conference.

Student conferences on nanotechnology are conducted by the INIC and an academic center annually. All students whose theses have been certified by the scientific jury of INIC in terms of relevance with nanotechnology should present a paper on their works in one of the aforementioned conferences to be qualified for receiving the INIC’s secondary financial supports.

So far, 7 conferences of this type have been held in Tarbiat Modarres University, University of Kashan, Razi University, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Shaheed Beheshti Medical University. Tarbiat Modarres University has hosted the event twice.

The 8th student conference on nanotechnology intends to establish interactions between nano-tech researchers and fostering synergy among them and get them prepared/encouraged to enter nanotechnology markets on their ultimate stage of development.
