Sidense, a provider of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) one-time programmable (OTP) memory IP cores, and ON Semiconductor, a supplier of high performance silicon systems for low power electronics, have declared that the180nm OTP memory products from Sidense will be available for use in ONC18, ON Semiconductor's 180nm digital and mixed-signal platform.
The development will allow use of SLP macros in ON Semiconductor’s Application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs). Customers will also be able to use OTP IP in ASIC products from ON. Sidense customers will be able to use SLP macros and ON Semiconductor’s foundry facilities. Individual SLP macros with densities up to 256Kbits are available.
According to Bob Klosterboer, ON Semiconductor senior vice president of the Digital and Mixed Signal Product Group, Sidense's OTP platforms are power and space efficient and do not need modifications or additions to ON’s process flow. The development will offer ON clients silicon products for use in multiple applications.
