Maskless Lithography to Showcase Digital Imaging Products at Las Vegas

Maskless Lithography will unveil its MLI-3000 digital, direct-write imaging (DI) device at the IPC APEX Expo that was held in Las Vegas between April 12 and14.

Maskless Lithography has been accepted by the IPC APEX Expo Innovation Technology Center to exhibit its MLI-3000 family. A panel of industry experts analyzed the products before it was being selected. The selection also depended on the deployment of a technology of value and its importance to the electronics industry.

Dr. William Elder, president and chief executive officer, Maskless Lithography, said his company’s new direct-write imaging (DI) products were being used both in Asia and North America, introducing them to the cost of ownership (COO) and advantages of digital imaging at manufacture speeds. Direct-write imaging technology is a lithography that will help the industry progress beyond contact printing in a scenario where the PCB industry moves closer to the 50micron feature sizes.
