TTP LabTech Announces Addition of 561nm Laser to Acumen eX3

TTP LabTech has recently improved its high content, microplate imaging system, the Acumen eX3. The 561nm laser enables it to perform extra high throughput cell-based assays.

This enables multiple dyes to be used to enhance the multiplexing features of the machine. It has been designed to optimize imaging efficiency, maintain quality, assimilate and analyze more than 40 images/second at a 20x objective lens resolution. It can rapidly scan the entire well area, enabling it to analyze colony forming units from bone marrow and stem cell cultures and neutrophil adhesion assays.

The screening system can at the same time screen and analyze data, offering read times from six minutes for 24 to 3456 well plates. It maintains the assay integrity and can analyze both single and multiple intracellular components. Its high throughput capabilities ensure its suitability for analyzing images from experiments such as RNAi screening. It enables rapid image analysis and processing derived from any high content screening application.
