Graphene2012, the biggest European event in graphene, will be conducted from 10 to 13 April 2012 at Brussels44Center in Brussels, Belgium.
The event will feature extensive thematic workshops, plenary sessions with well-known speakers and an industrial expo displaying future graphene nanotrends. Phantoms Foundation has announced the second edition of the graphene event, thanks to the success of Graphene2011 conducted in Bilbao, Spain.
The event is an assembly point for the graphene community comprising investors, policymakers, industry, researchers and will prove to be a major source of information exchange in the world of graphene. The Graphene Flagship Pilot Action will use this international event to co-organize an exclusive session to present the graphene science and technology roadmap results to the European community, including the Member States and the European Commission, in an attempt to securing long term financing via a new graphene alliance.
Tentative programs of this specific session include a presentation titled ‘Vision of Defragmentation of European Innovation for the next decade: The Graphene Alliance’ from Jari Kinaret and another presentation titled ‘The Graphene Science and Technology Roadmap’from Andrea Ferrari and Vladimir Falko. A round table conference will also be featured in this session.
Around 700 participants are expected to meet in Graphene2012 to discuss about the wonder material graphene. An entire list of renowned speakers in the graphene field will be declared in the end of 2011.
