Analog Bits has revealed that it now offers key product lines at the 28 nm node process technologies. The company disclosed for the first time that it has supplied several 28 nm IP for lower power and high performance processes and has working silicon on the 32 nm process nodes.
Analog Bits is now aggressively delivering port production-proven IP to numerous 28 nm node process technologies such as the novel 28 nm HPM process. The 28-nm product lines of the company comprise on-die thermometer IP, high-performance TCAM memories, DDR3 I/Os, SERDES, DLL and PLL. The company offers design kits for advanced designs.
The TCAM high performance memories have capabilities above the 1 GHz magnitude. The low-power, compact and highly integrated 28-nm temperature sensors monitor temperature difference on-chip, enabling ultra accuracy even during unlimited usage.
The innovative 28 nm DDR3/LPDDR2 I/Os is designed to work with DDR3/3L/3U standards and designs having speeds of the order of 2.133 Gbps. The LPDDR2 products are ideal for portable and consumer equipment that need low-power memory interfaces.
Analog Bits’ 28 nm SERDES series consumes very less power of the order of4.3 mw/Gbps and features lowest latency of the industry. Its adaptive equalization and multi-protocol and multi-rate capabilities are compatible with backplane KR applications, PCI Express Gen 3 and more than 70 standard protocols.
The standard 28 nm PLLs are ultra compact caused by the innovative ‘zero core area’ technique and meet a broad array of frequency demands of up to 5GHz. They demonstrate low jitter and consume very less power of below 1mA/GHz. Analog Bits also offers very high speed PLLs of up to 20 GHz and ultra low jitter PLLs of less than 100 fs RMS.
