CVD Equipment declared that it has purchased a new building situated at 355 South Technology Drive, Central Islip in New York.
The President and Chief Executive Officer at CVD Equipment, Leonard Rosenbaum stated that following the purchase of the building, the company anticipates shifting into a facility that has double the area of its existing space and is looking forward to integrate its application laboratory in one roof. The company can now concentrate on the shifting activities and the various growth prospects that can be obtained from this relocation.
By doubling its space, CVD Equipment’s application laboratory can now concentrate on nanomaterial production; pilot manufacturing process development and illustration for the transition of nanomaterials to macromaterials and/or sub-assemblies; and combined business and technology transfer advancements for products made of nanomaterials. CVD Materials, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CVD Equipment, will market these products.
CVD Equipment designs and manufactures standard and custom advanced tools that are utilized in designing, developing and producing sophisticated electronic coatings, materials and components for research and development purposes. The company provides a comprehensive portfolio of gas control, chemical vapor deposition and other tools for studying, designing and producing MEMS, LEDs, nanowires, carbon nanotubes, graphene, solar cells, semiconductors, smart glass coatings, medical coatings and battery and/or ultracapacitor materials. It also offers industrial coatings and tools for surface mounting of parts onto printed circuit boards.
