Nanovations has achieved the status of being one among the first carbon neutral nanotechnology producers in the globe. This achievement corroborates the company’s commitment towards decreasing the emissions of greenhouse gases.
Although Nanovations reduced its carbon footprint through selective procurement, power management and recycling, carbon offsetting is highly indispensable for a modern organization to attain the zero carbon footprint status. Through this status, the company has set a new benchmark for zero-emission production of nanotechnology products.
For this purpose, Nanovations teamed up with the Carbon Neutral organization in Australia to study the amount of the emissions that include energy used for manufacturing, management, warehousing, business travel and waste. After identifying the volume of emissions, carbon offsetting was then used for their reduction. Through offsetting, each ton of CO2 released by Nanovations is compensated by a same quantity saved by a scheme in another place of the world.
Through the successful deployment of the Carbon Neutral Program across all its operations, Nanovations will now have the choice to buy carbon offsets for its customers worldwide, in order to eliminate the emissions generated during the transportation of produced goods to the locations across the world.
Nanovations’ Managing Director, Harry Stulajter informed that the company wants to be modern. The company, a major player in ultra-thin glass coatings, would like to achieve dominant position in all of its business operations. Achieving the carbon neutral status was the company’s next logical step as it is committed towards environmental excellence.
