The Daily Record has felicitated Pixelligent Technologies, a company specializing in nanocrystal additives for use in industrial, semiconductor, electronics applications, with the 2012 Innovator of the Year award.
Pixelligent recently expanded its production facility with the addition of 13,000 sq. ft. and increased its workforce by 150%. Over the last six months, the company has witnessed a ten-fold growth in its customer pipeline, which also includes five major international polymer and chemical producers. Its nanocomposites and nanocrystal additives are being assessed for applications such as advanced lighting, brighter and higher efficiency displays, robust semiconductors, high-tech lubricants and protective coatings.
