Thomas Swan, a company dedicated to the reliable supply of high performance graphene and 2D materials is pleased to announce their participation in the United Kingdom Graphene Pavilion at NANO KOREA, Seoul, 1-3 July 2015.
The UK Graphene Exhibit is an initiative by leading graphene technology companies, research institutes and government agencies within the UK – which include Haydale Ltd., Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd., 2-DTech Ltd., the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), the National Graphene Institute – University of Manchester, the National Physical Laboratory and Innovate UK. The event will be supported by UK Trade & Investment.
The purpose of the exhibit is to promote the strengths and capabilities of the Graphene Industry in the UK to stakeholders in Korean industry, academia and government groups and demonstrate that the UK Graphene industry is “open for business” with Korean partners.
Having first isolated two-dimensional graphene at the University of Manchester, the United Kingdom is globally recognised as a world leading authority in graphene and 2D materials science, technology and commercialisation. This exhibit will promote the collaborative approach between material and technology providers, world class universities and government backed laboratories and innovation centres.
“Thomas Swan is looking forward to the opportunity to introduce our capabilities to the Korean market. We know this is a very active market for new nanomaterials and we encourage attendees to the show with an interest in 2D materials to come and meet with us” said Dr. Andy Goodwin – Commercial Director, Advanced Materials Division.
