Future and innovation through nanotechnology at EuroNanoForum 2019, the most important European forum of the industry, in Bucharest
The National Institute for Research and Development in Microtechnologies - IMT Bucharest - organizes the 9th edition of EuroNanoForum (EuroNanoForum 2019 - Nanotechnology and progress of advanced materials under Horizon2020 and beyond), which will be held between June 12 - 14, 2019 at the Palace of Parliament, Bucharest. This event is part of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and represents the most important European forum bringing together top researchers from prominent international centers, industry experts, and policymakers. The event is co-financed by the European Commission and the Romanian Ministry of Research and Innovation.
More than 500 participants from all over the world are expected to attend. The Forum will provide opportunities for discussions on cross-sectoral challenges and will focus both on the industrial applications of cutting-edge research results from Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials of the Horizon 2020 Programme, as well as on future strategic research priorities in this area.
EuroNanoForum 2019 will take place over three days, the first two days are dedicated to conference sessions, while the workshop sessions and the brokerage events will be held on the third day. The event will allow the participants to connect to the future and innovation through topics such as Nanotechnologies and advanced materials for a carbon-neutral society by 2050, Advanced materials and nanotechnologies for harnessing solar energy, Nano-medicine, Quantum technologies for enhancing European cyber security, Nano Biomaterials.
An Industrial and Research Exhibition will be open to participants throughout the event. This will encourage discussions between stakeholders, strengthen partnerships between research and industrial players, stimulating the organic development of the areas addressed by the event. The exhibition will deliver a comprehensive image of the nanotechnology and advanced materials` potential for various European industrial sectors.
