Signo-Nanocare will be attending Surface World live for the first time on the 2nd & 3rd March 2022, with a broad range of nano-coating and nano-ceramic surface treatments for use in many different manufacturing and production settings on display at Stand Q4.
Nano coatings have been around for the last 40 years and utilised in many different industries where there is a need for easy-clean and dirt repellence. These have been further developed into the subcategory of nano-ceramics. Through the addition of nano ceramic particles, these coatings can offer extreme levels of hardness up to 9H and temperature resistance to 800oc. Once bonded to a substrate, they offer a range of cost reducing benefits and extend the functional life of machine parts offering significant advantage over traditional release agents for example.
The Signo-Nanocare product line-up includes the Dura range, - ideal for use in manufacturing settings, reducing the wear and tear of moving parts such as die cutters. Dura also provides:-
- Stain prevention on non-porous surfaces such as porcelain sinks and granite worktops
- Scratch resistance on metal surfaces such as stainless steel
- Easy clean performance on multiple surfaces
The range also includes nano-coatings that are currently used in building protection, glazing, automotive and textile industries for components in production processes and to enhance performance of a broad range of manufactured equipment.
Nano-coatings can play a significant role in meeting the environmental demands faced by businesses by extending a product’s usable life, looks and performance. Within the manufacturing process, reduced wear and tear of manufacturing parts, enables easier clean downs while also reducing water volumes and the need for harsh chemicals.
Signo-Nanocare’s range is supplied in bulk for application to equipment at the factory, or in hand application formats for on-site trade application. Home application retail kit formats for continued appearance retention and anti-microbial protection will also be featured. Surface World Live is returning the NEC, as the UK’s only dedicated surface treatment, product finishing and coatings exhibition. After its postponement due to Covid, it provides the industry with the opportunity to see the very latest technological developments and how the sector can address sustainability concerns.
