International Multiconference on Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine

NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023, which completes 20 years of international presence this year, brings Greece and Thessaloniki at the heart of global developments in cutting-edge technologies such as Nanotechnologies and the applications of organic electronics and Nanomedicine

​​​​​​​More than 1000 internationally renowned scientists, researchers and company representatives from 65 countries of the world will participate in the International Multidisciplinary Conference co-organized by the LTFN Laboratory of Nanotechnology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the HOPE-A Business Association from July 1 to 8 in Thessaloniki, at the Porto Palace Hotel.

The annual event is a national effort and opportunity for the promotion, exploitation and networking in the field of New Technologies, Innovations and New Entrepreneurship with a focus on Thessaloniki.

NANOTEXNOLOGY is one of the most important scientific and technological events in Europe, which has been held every July continuously since 2004, and has a triple objective: (a) to bring together from every corner of the globe researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs from the field of Nanotechnologies and Digital Innovation and their applications in Energy, Health, Agriculture; (b) to highlight new cutting-edge technologies and innovations created in these fields; and (c) to propose and promote their results in new applications and solutions for the economy and society. 

The Multi-Conference, which includes 3 International Conferences and a number of Special Topical Sessions with all the latest developments in the fields of Nanotechnology and Nanobiotechnology, Advanced Materials, Organic & Printed Electronics, Nanomedicine, ICT, Green Energy and Digital Innovation, will bring together representatives from more than 500 Universities, Research Institutions and Companies from all over the world.

The NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023 Conferences

For a whole week, July 1-8, Thessaloniki will be transformed into an International Hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship as NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023 includes:

4-7 July

  • The International Conference on Flexible Organic Electronics (ISFOE23), 3-6 July
  • The International Conference on 3D Printing, 3D Bioprinting, Digital Industry (I3D23), 5-6 July
  • The International Summer School on Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine (ISSON23), 1-8 July
  • The International Nanotechnology Exhibition NANO EXPO 2023, 3-7 July
  • The Business Forum, 4-6 July
  • The Matchmaking Event (Business Meetings), 5 July.

Bioelectronics, Nanomedicine and New Therapeutic Approaches

The design of multifunctional biomaterials for advanced medical devices, bioelectronic devices and therapeutic applications, pioneering cellular research and their application in clinical practice, technological developments in biomedicine, new cancer therapies, new developments in regenerative medicine, are just some of the contributions of scientists from the EU, USA, Japan who will take part in the Nanomedicine Conference at NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023 (3-7 July)

In the framework of the Conference, meetings will be held for the European Programs such as Flex2Energy, RealNano and COPE-Nano, in which Greece and especially the LTFN Nanotechnology Laboratory and the HOPE-A Business Association have an important role and meetings will also be held for the 700 members of the International Network for Research and Innovation NANONET.

"Nanotechnology, in addition to Scientific and Technological discoveries, creates with its products and services a market of more than 8.0 trillion € for 2022, more than 1,500,000 new high-tech companies and many tens of millions of new jobs in all sectors of production, economy and society", as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023 Conference, Professor Stergios Logothetidis, emphasizes.

The Scientific Committee of the International Multistakeholder Conference, covering a wide range of research developments in the fields of Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine, and supporting the information and networking of researchers and entrepreneurs from all over the world in the framework of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2023, organizes 16 Thematic Workshops.
