Industrial Nanotech, Inc., an emerging global leader in nanotechnology, announced today that the Company has recently developed an innovation application process for its 250 kilometer pipeline project with Petrobras, the Brazilian Oil & Gas giant.
“During a recent roundtable discussion with several of our top PhD chemists, we were conducting a detailed review of the application process logistics and we had one of those ‘eureka’ moments that research scientists prize,” states Stuart Burchill, CEO of Industrial Nanotech. “Our original objective was to review the pipeline installation process, from the pipe manufacturing stage to completion of the pipeline installation, and look for any potential areas where errors in application or handling could occur and revise those steps to make mistakes less likely. The result was the development of an automated process using slightly modified commercially available equipment that not only dramatically reduces the possibility of mistakes, but it reduces the application time per 50 foot long pipe from hours to minutes. This represents a dramatic time and cost savings to Petrobras and a significant added benefit to Petrobras from their relationship with Industrial Nanotech. We look forward to demonstrating this process to them during their engineers’ upcoming visit to our laboratories for a product application guidelines seminar.”
“We believe this combination of the unique performance qualities of our coating, the value of those performance qualities to all companies in the oil and gas industry worldwide, and this innovative application protocol has the potential to become an industry standard,” continues Mr. Burchill.
