Join ITT Visual Information Solutions, CytoViva, and Bruxton Corporation for a live web seminar demonstrating hardware and software solutions for spectral microscopy applications in nanomedicine, nanomaterials, nanotoxicology, pathogen diagnostics, and nanoparticle biomarkers. New applications in the life and materials sciences have recently been made possible with advances in hardware and software technologies.
This web seminar will demonstrate ENVI and IDL software for materials mapping using imagery acquired with the Bruxton and CytoViva spectral microscopy system including:
- ENVI for microscopy applications – algorithms from the earth sciences applied to microscopic-scale biological and materials mapping
- Modifying the ENVI menu for applications in nano-technology, nano-medicine and other bio-medical related areas
- Spectral target detection – a practical nanomaterial mapping example
CytoViva - Dr. James Beach and Charles Ludwig
CytoViva will highlight their integrated spectroscopic image acquisition system, show exciting new applications that the system makes possible and provide real life user application stories.
ITT Visual Information Solutions –Thomas Harris
ITT-VIS will demonstrate the ENVI and IDL software for materials mapping using imagery acquired with the Bruxton and CytoViva spectral microscopy system.
Bruxton Corporation - Dan Brown
Bruxton Corporation will demonstrate their SIDX instrument control software that provides a cameral-independent API for use with the ITT IDL programming language and ENVI image analysis software.
The web cast and product demonstration will run approximately 45 minutes with time for Q&A at the end. No prior knowledge of ENVI is required for attending this webinar. Registration is limited to 250 participants. A recording of this seminar will be made available at a later date.
