Globalpress Connection, a global public relations agency for the high-tech industry, is set to hold its 8th annual Globalpress Electronics Summit from April 26 to 29, 2010, at the Chaminade Resort in Santa Cruz, Calif. Panels this year will focus on:
- Energy: Where GreenTech meets HighTech
- How MEMS is fueling growth in the post-recession economy
- Cloud Computing: Expectations and extrapolations of the cloud
The Globalpress Electronics Summit http://esummit10.globalpresspr.com/ brings together electronics industry leaders and international journalists in a relaxed yet high-energy environment that mixes keynotes and panel discussions with formal one-on-one interviews and informal networking. By attending the four-day Summit, electronics companies can reach trade and business press editors from around the world for a fraction of the cost and time required for an international press tour -- and 50 editors from Asia and Europe can spend more focused time learning about newsworthy U.S. high-tech companies.
"Global ties are more important than ever in the high-tech and media worlds, yet today's tough economic times and cut-backs in both marketing budgets and publication space erect more barriers than ever to forging these ties," said Irmgard Lafrenz, president of Globalpress Connection. "The Globalpress Electronics Summit delivers incredible return on investment, allowing companies to reach international audiences important for their success."
The 2009 Globalpress Electronics Summit generated more than 500 articles for the 30 companies in attendance. Globalpress estimates that compared to a worldwide press tour to Asia or Europe, its events cost approximately 75 percent less and require about 10 percent of the time. In addition to the cost and time savings, the Globalpress Electronics Summit also eases language barriers by offering translation services when needed.
