In co-operation with the German Asia-pacific Business Association, IVAM Microtechnology Network launches the third Japanese-German Micro/Nano forum within the framework of the Exhibition Micro Machine/MEMS“- in Tokyo, one of the most important Japanese exhibitions in the field of micro- and nanotechnology.
Within the scope of the seminar on July 29 high class speakers, like Prof. Esashi of the Tohuku University and Prof. Geßner of The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS as well as further German and Japanese company-representatives, will present newest developments, like for example sensor systems for energy efficient productions.
Within this Japan mission of the German Asia-pacific Business Association and IVAM, a German delegation of 20 people will visit the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and the National Institute for Material Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba, as well as laboratories of the Bio-Electromechanical Autonomus Nano Systems projects (BEANS) of the Tokyo University. The delegation journey is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and by the Economic Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia, which will open the business seminar at the exhibition. The main aim of the travel is to get informed about newest trends and to create project partners. “The Micromachine exhibition is one of the most important events in Asia. We do not only reach the Japanese market but we are also noticed beyond“, explains Dr. Uwe Kleinkes managing director of IVAM.
