Nikon Metrology has unveiled a stereoscopic microscope, the SMZ-745. The design allows for airtight, electrostatic and mold resistance, and disallows electrostatic emission and dust and water seepage to damage the sample.
This facilitates its use in high temperature and humid areas and where solid pollutants present.
The Greenough visual platform offers a zoom ratio up to 7.5 times. The optimization ranges from 3.35 to 330 times with the auxiliary lens and eyepiece. Its reflection prism provides bright contrast images. A functional distance up to 115mm combined with a trinocular visual head helps control and digital imaging.
The microscope can be used in the manufacturing sector for PCB assembly, semiconductor construction, embryology/IVF, medical platform and quality control, geology, entomology, botany, cell biology, plastics and MEMS.
It is user-friendly. It can magnify images 0.67 to 5 times, offering an extended viewing range. An eyepiece inclination of 45° and an electrostatic decay time 1000 to 10V, in.2 seconds. It is certified as JIS/IEC water resistant.
