Coventor, a supplier of automated design solutions for micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) development, announces that is has opened a new sales and development office in Italy.
In addition, the company has signed a new distribution agreement with AONESOFT in China.
The strong growth of the MEMS market boosts the demand for advanced design solutions. The global expansion helps Coventor to meet the requirement for robust design platform to develop MEMS products. Sondra Di Sabatino, former executive of Ansoft, will join Coventor to lead the sales and business developments initiatives for Israel and Southern Europe.
Coventor enters into partnership with AONESOFT, a Wuhan-based company with strong expertise in sales, to serve its customers in China’s southern and central regions.
Tom Flynn, Coventor’s VP of Sales and Business Development, comments that there is a strong demand for Coventor’s design platform in these regions as the MEMS devices turn out to be more complex and they are incorporated into the traditional electronic systems. The geographical expansion of Coventor will help to meet the challenges of MEMS market.
