NanoCentral and IntertechPira are pleased to announce the programme for the 5th edition of NanoMaterials - the leading event focusing on the commercialisation of nanotechnology in Europe - featuring Lockheed Martin, Boeing, OECD, Harris & Harris and Lux Research.

NanoMaterials2011, taking place at the Hotel Russell, London, UK on 8-9 June, will feature over 30 speakers in plenary sessions and 3 parallel conference tracks. The focus of the programme is on how to generate revenue from nanomaterials and it will present various case studies as well as analyse the latest developments in policy, business and financing. Plenary sessions will present representatives from NanoCentral, Lux Research, Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster, Lockheed Martin, Harris & Harris, University of London, University of Oxford, OECD, Boeing, 100%Open and P2i. These talks will cover market analysis, case studies outlining successful commercialisation of nanomaterials as well as insights from venture capitalists on how to acquire funding and major global end users talking about why they see nanotechnology as the future.

Set for the afternoon of day 1 and morning of day 2, three parallel tracks will look closely at Policy, Business and Finance, Innovations in Production and Novel Applications for Nanotechnology. Policy, Business and Finance will feature Which?, London School of Economics, European Food Safety Agency, Health and Safety Laboratory, McKenna Long & Aldridge, CambridgeIP, Plus Markets Group, INSCX and World Gold Council.

Innovations in Production sessions will include presentations from BHR Group, AM Technology, UCL, Can Hamburg, Nano Dispersions Technology, Fraunhofer Nanotechnology Alliance, Accelrys and Enspectr. Cella Energy, ITN Nanovation, Q-Flo, Cambridge University, Canatu Oy and Matox will be featured in the Novel Applications for Nanotechnology Track.

"We are pleased to present the strongest programme ever. NanoMaterials2011 is full of high-profile speakers from all around the world, including Japan, Russia, Panama, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Finland, US, UK and The Netherlands" said Robert Stead, Head of Events at IntertechPira. "This year, we changed the focus of parallel tracks and by re-shaping the format; we have built a must-attend event for everyone who is planning to capitalize on nanotechnology."

This market-leading conference will once again be accompanied by an exhibition showcasing leading suppliers of services and products and extensive networking opportunities. For the first time, NanoCentral will be holding an introductory seminar, preceding NanoMaterials2011 conference, on the afternoon of 7 June. Aimed at those who have heard of nanotechnology, but are unsure what it can do to promote growth in their business and want to learn more about this developing sector, this workshop provides an ideal introduction to NanoMaterials2011.
