Berkeley Design Automation has signed new contracts with EDA distributors in order to improve demand for the Analog FastSPICE Platform.
The company has chosen Advanced Semiconductor Technology as representative in Israel, ICON Design Automation as representative in India, and Neutronics Solutions as representative in Canada.
The Analog FastSPICE Platform is the sole verification platform in the industry for nanometer RF, analog, custom and mixed-signal digital circuits. The AFS Platform offers 5-10 times rapid single-core performance when compared to typical SPICE circuit simulators. It also delivers foundry-qualified nanometer SPICE accuracy and greater than 10M-element capacity. The AFS Platform is the only complete silicon-precision equipment for noise analysis. It utilizes numerical analysis and advanced algorithms to quickly solve the full-circuit matrix and device equations with approximating values.
The CEO of ICON Design Automation, R. Varalakshmi, stated that the AFS Platform delivers performance, capacity, and precision for verifying nanometer circuits. She added that the company will supply its products to the Indian market for advanced nanometer circuit verification.
The Director of EDA & IP operations at AST, Uri Farkash, stated that Berkeley Design Automation will help AST to supply the AFS Platform to all clients using nanometer RF, mixed-signal, and analog applications in Israel.
