MEMS Industry Group (MIG), a trade association focusing on the advancement of MEMS systems throughout global markets, has confirmed its contribution in the content of MEMS conference track of SEMICON West and its support for display products at SEMICON West 2012, a major annual conference for the global microelectronics market.
During the session, titled ‘Taking MEMS to the Next Level: Transitioning to a Profitable High-Volume Business,’ in the MEMS whole-day conference session at SEMICON West 2012, speakers will discuss the ways of adapting integration strategies and production infrastructure by MEMS suppliers in order to fulfill growing market demand.
MEMS Industry Group will also take part on the SEMICON West show floor along with member-companies XACTIX, Oxford Instruments, n&k Technology, IQE Silicon, and Innovative Micro Technology. The MEMS lounge and MIG Pavilion are situated at Booth 2731 in the South Hall of Moscone Center in San Francisco.
MEMS Industry Group’s Managing Director, Karen Lightman stated that the organization is happy to extend its partnership with SEMI to emphasize MEMS’ role in the exhibition, content and programming at SEMICON West 2012, which is a suitable platform to explore ways of advancing MEMS. MEMS is gaining attention, thanks to a record double-digit growth achieved by the MEMS industry.
