Industrial Nanotech, a provider of sustainable nanotechnology based solutions, has announced that Nanosulate Crystal, its patented clear and nanotechnology based roof coating continues to be in demand. A popular technique adopted presently to improve energy efficiency of buildings is to give a white coating to the roofs.
The Nanosulate Crystal is however touted to be a better alternative as it is a clear solution that offers the benefits of UV protection, mold resistance and energy savings without altering the appearance of the roof. The nanotechnology-enabled coating is effective in both winter and summer as it employs a concept of reduction in direct heat conduction as opposed to a commonly employed method of reflecting the sun’s rays. The Nanosulate Crystal is thus ideal for roofs made of asphalt shingle tiles of all colors and decorative concrete tiles.
Recent orders for the product came from the U.S. and Puerto Rico for two church properties encompassing 77,900 sq.ft of roof surface between them. There was a demand for residential and industrial applications across the United States. The sales extended on a global level to countries like Brunei, UK, Thailand and China. Francesca Crolley, VP of Business Development for Industrial Nanotech attributes the sustained increase in sales to the company’s marketing strategy that comprises product branding, launch of a new website, media campaigns and business mail campaigns. She stated that the Company would continue to expand its market share in the cool-roof arena that is lauded by the U.S. Department of Energy for its energy savings.
